Measures nearly 13cm (5") sitting

This li'l fella is looking for a new home.

Toby is a divine little mohair bear. He's a bit battered though through years of being loved. Some fur is worn away and there's also the repairs where he's been stitched up. He has glass eyes and is five way jointed.

Sadly he's now forgotten and sits alone in the old sewing tin just waiting for someone to love him again. The old tin is approx 20cm (8") in length by 9cm (3 1/2") height. It comes with 3 vintage cotton reels, a stained doiley, a divine old fabric tape measure and an old card of buttons.
The vintage postcard on the back reads:
To Ruby with love from father.
Egypt 9th Sept 1916.

Approx 36cm (14")long x 24cm (9 1/2")wide

Using a pattern by Tennessee Ridge Primitives, I have created this lovely vintage style heart from calico that has been stained, painted and sanded to give it an aged look.

I then embellished it with a very pretty heart shaped crocheted doiley, ribbon, beadwork and a copy of a vintage photo of an ancestor of my own.
